Why volunteer at the Allegany / Western Steuben Rural Health Network ?

The Allegany/Western Steuben Rural Health Network is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the health and wellness of our community by identifying unmet needs and gaps in services, working collaboratively with other organizations to fill those needs through the development and improvement of programs. Volunteers play a significant role in this process by offering their time and energy as a member of the AWSRHN team, assisting with a variety of tasks, projects and routine office needs.

Volunteering offers many benefits, both personal and career related. It can boost self-esteem and confidence, provide the opportunity to learn a new skill and meet new people, keep you active and involved in your community, and much more. By volunteering, you have the opportunity to make a difference in your community and know the satisfaction that comes from helping others.
